กรุงโซลส่งเสริมบริการแบ่งปันจักรยานและรถยนต์ (Bike and Car Sharing) ตามโครงการอพาร์ทเมนท์
รัฐบาลกรุงโซลประกาศแผนการลงทุนในโครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านการแบ่งปันระบบสาธารณูปโภคสาธารณะในอาคารอพาร์ตเมนต์เพื่อกระตุ้นการพัฒนาชุมชนที่มีส่วนร่วม โครงการ หมู่บ้านแห่งการแบ่งปัน (Sharing Village) ซึ่งเป็นโครงการปรับโครงสร้างพื้นฐานใหม่ของกรุงโซลโดยจะมีจุดบริการจักรยานและรถร่วมซึ่งมีกระจายอยู่ทั่วเมืองสร้างขึ้นในจุดเดียวกันเพื่อความสะดวกสบายสร้างสถานที่ที่คล้ายกับชื่อ 'หมู่บ้านแห่งการแบ่งปัน'
การสมัครเข้าร่วมโครงการจะมีจนถึงวันที่ 12 กรกฎาคม ผู้อยู่อาศัยที่ประสงค์จะเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการ "หมู่บ้านแห่งการแบ่งปัน" สามารถยื่นใบสมัครไปยังสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่ท้องถิ่นหลังจากตกลงกับผู้อยู่อาศัยคนอื่น ๆ โดยจะมีเพียงหนึ่งหรือสองตึกที่คาดว่าจะได้รับการคัดเลือก สำหรับโครงการนำร่อง
ชุมชนที่ได้รับการสนับสนุนจาก "หมู่บ้านแห่งการแบ่งปัน" จะเห็นว่ามีพื้นที่ใช้จ่ายประมาณ 50 ล้านวอนเพื่อสร้างโครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านเศรษฐกิจร่วมกัน (sharing economy infrastructure) เพื่อให้บริการต่างๆร่วมกันซึ่ง ได้แก่ จักรยาน ตู้เย็น หรือแม้กระทั่งการดูแลเด็ก ขึ้นอยู่กับประเภทของครัวเรือนในชุมชนที่ได้รับเลือกในปีพ. ศ. 2555 กรุงโซลประกาศตัวว่าเป็นเมืองแห่งการแบ่งปัน (sharing city) และในปี พ.ศ. 2556 กลายเป็นเมืองแรกในประเทศที่ออกกฎหมายเพื่อส่งเสริมการเศรษฐกิจแบ่งปัน (sharing economy)
