About the Role
We are looking for a tech-savvy, vigilant, and problem-solving Fleet Tech Support & Vehicle Monitoring Officer to oversee our connected carsharing platform. In this role, you will be responsible for real-time monitoring of HAUP’s vehicle fleet via IoT telematics systems, diagnosing hardware/software communication glitches, providing remote technical troubleshooting (e.g., door unlock/lock signals, engine immobilizer controls), and dispatching technical support to field officers when physical maintenance is required.
Key Responsibilities
Real-time Fleet Monitoring: Monitor vehicle connectivity, GPS positioning, door lock states, battery/fuel levels, and hardware diagnostic codes using HAUP’s internal telematics dashboard.
Remote Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve real-time IoT hardware and app-to-vehicle communication issues (e.g., failure to unlock via smartphone, offline telematics boxes, or immobilizer glitches) to assist active customer rentals.
Hardware Health & Alarm Management: Identify, track, and log system alarms, disconnected devices, low voltage battery warnings, or unauthorized vehicle movements, taking immediate protective actions.
Technical Support Escalation: Coordinate directly with Field Technicians, Fleet Operations, and Customer Support teams to dispatch physical repair units when remote reset or troubleshooting fails.
Hardware Configuration & Testing: Support the technical configuration, signal testing, and firmware update checks for newly installed IoT boxes on onboard vehicles.
Incident & Log Reporting: Maintain accurate technical logs of hardware failure rates, system bugs, and device replacement histories to support the product and engineering teams in platform optimization.
Skills and Qualifications
Education: Diploma (Por-Wor-Sor) or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Automotive Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Technical Support, IT Helpdesk, Fleet Telematics Monitoring, or Operations Support (fresh graduates with strong interest in IoT, Automotive Tech, or Tech Startups are welcome).
Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of IoT telematics, GPS tracking systems, cellular networks (2G/4G/5G), or basic automotive electronics. Proficiency in web dashboard tools, Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs), and ticketing systems.
Languages: Good command of written and spoken Thai; basic working proficiency in English (for software interface usage and technical documentation).
Attributes: High attention to detail, calm under pressure, strong analytical mindset, and adaptable to a fast-paced 24/7 tech environment.
Other: Willingness to work in rotating shift schedules (if required by operational monitoring needs).
