About the Role
We are looking for an innovative, hands-on EV Electrical Engineer to join our technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical systems of HAUP’s growing Electric Vehicle (EV) fleet, managing the installation and technical readiness of EV charging infrastructure at HAUP stations, and troubleshooting IoT/telematics hardware integrations. You will play a crucial role in building a reliable, smart, and safe EV mobility network across Thailand.
Key Responsibilities
EV Infrastructure & Station Engineering: Design, evaluate, and supervise the installation of EV charging stations (AC/DC fast chargers), power distribution systems, and electrical wiring at HAUP station locations.
EV Fleet Technical Support: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical, high-voltage battery, motor controller, and onboard electronic issues across various EV models in the fleet.
IoT & Telematics Integration: Oversee the installation, testing, and integration of IoT smart-lock devices, tracking hardware, and telematics modules connected to vehicle electrical systems.
Vendor & Site Coordination: Liaise with electrical contractors, power utilities (MEA/PEA), charger suppliers, and property partners to ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
Preventive Maintenance & Safety: Implement electrical safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and preventive maintenance schedules for charging equipment and EV assets.
Data & Performance Monitoring: Monitor charging efficiency, power consumption metrics, and hardware connectivity to optimize station uptime and energy management.
Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, EV Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in electrical system engineering, EV charging infrastructure, automotive electronics, or power systems (fresh graduates with strong EV/power projects are welcome).
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of AC/DC charging standards, high-voltage battery systems, and power distribution. Familiarity with automotive wiring diagrams, IoT hardware installation, and CAN bus protocols is a strong plus.
License: Possession of an Associate Electrical Engineer License (วิศวกรไฟฟ้าภาคี / ใบ ก.ว.) is preferred.
Languages: Good command of written and spoken Thai; basic-to-intermediate working English proficiency.
Attributes: Strong analytical mindset, safety-first attitude, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to a fast-moving tech-startup environment.
Other: Valid driver’s license and willingness to perform field visits to stations across Bangkok and vicinities.
